The Price of Honor (名誉の代償, Meiyo no daishō) is episode XXI of the 2006 anime series Le Chevalier D'Eon.

Summary

Teillagory and the Duke of Orleans arrest D'Eon. Robin manages to elude capture and sneaks into the Duke's mansion to rescue D'Eon, but is forced to retreat after being seen by Maximilien. Maximilien claims that he is not responsible for Lia's death, and attempts to convince D'Eon to read the Psalms. Failing at that, he bestows greater control of the Psalms upon Lorenza. Lorenza attempts to kill D'Eon/Lia with her newfound powers, but is ultimately defeated by Lia's spirit. The people march against the Duke of Orleans, who suspects that the rebellion was instigated by the King. Meanwhile, Queen Marie finally returns Belle to her mother, Madame de Pompadour. D'Eon escapes his confinement and duels with Teillagory which ends in a stalemate with D'Eon pinned to the wall. The duke prepares to kill D'Eon, but Robin interferes and shoots the duke. Teillagory protects the duke by shielding him with his own body, leaving Robin in shock.
